I just came across this one in one of my searches. Apparently, from what I can make out, it's a new German radio play that takes place in 1966 in Japan. It's obviously a loving tribute to Toho's classics, with characters like 'Dr. Tamblyn' and even a 'Serizawa Institute'. Those and it's Tohoesque score point that out. It even has some CGI visuals that were made for it of the kaiju[great looking stuff!!]. Some of you may recognize it's creator's name; Ralph Lorenz as the guy behind the still unfinished German 'King Kong' knock-off; "Kongula": kongula.de/ Here's the official website[the trailer's coming soon!!]: www.gualagon.de/index.htm and a banner of the film: www.gualagon.de/banner/gualagon_bigbanner.jpg and this is pretty interesting; an original concept artwork seems to imply that the creature is a conglomerate design of "Hedorah" and "Guilala"?? : www.monstercon.de/projekte/gualagon/gualagon_preview.jpg They're even saying that if it's successful enough then there may be a kit or comic or even a film. UPDATE!! A little more on it: roberthood.net/blog/index.php/2008/07/26/gualagon/ Pretty cool huh??
